He married Mary Francis Anderson December 7, 1884 in Gordon, Claiborne Par., LA. Mary was born November 28, 1856. Mary was the daughter of Oliver Perry Anderson and Rebecca Tatum. Mary died May 25, 1929 in Summerfield, Claiborne Parish, LA. Mary Frances died of Bright's diease. On the 1930 Census of Claiborne Co., LA, John T. had his wife, son Joe L and daughter in law, Lena and Edna G.Allgood age 11, a grand neice livning with him.
John Thomas Allgood and Mary Francis Anderson had the following children:
