Mr. Allgood was born July 24, 1937, in Newton County, Mississippi, to William Grover Allgood and Edna (Barnes) Allgood.
In retirement, he enjoyed watching sports such as football and the Tigers. He also enjoyed spending time with his family, especially taking his grandchildren to sporting events and Cedar Point
To cherish his memory he leaves his wife: Linda (Hart) Allgood, sons; Stephen Allgood, Allen Allgood, Jeff (Kim) Allgood, and Neil (Jennifer) Allgood, daughters; Kathy (Chuck) Lewis and Marcia Conwell, sisters, Allie Gregery, Alma Miles, Gracie Banks, and nineteen grandchildren.
Marcus Allgood was preceded in death by his brothers; Lonnie “Buck” Allgood and Marvin “Cricket” Allgood, his sister; Jane, and parents; William Grover Allgood and Edna (Barnes) Allgood.
Friends may gather from 12pm to 7:00pm on Saturday August 3, 2013, at Crane Funeral Home, 36885 Goddard Rd. Romulus, MI 48174, and (734) 941-9200. The Service will be held on Saturday August 3, 2013 at 7:00pm, at Crane Funeral Home. Reverend Robert White of Grace Baptist Church will be officiating.t
He married twice. He married Linda Jean Hart January 1972 in Wyandotte, Wayne Co., MI. Linda was born August 27, 1953 in Wyandotte, Wayne Co., MI. Linda was the daughter of T. L. Hart and Gloria Greek. Linda died July 2, 2024.
