Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Hopewell Cemetery with the Rev. Dick Hennings, minister of music at First Baptist Church in Bowie, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Burgess-Fry-Owens-Brumley Funeral Home.

Mr. Edwards was born Sept. 11, 1925, in Bowie. He was a self-employed landscaper. He was a member of the Stoneburg Baptist Church.

Survivors include a sister, Mary Jo Richardson of Bowie; a brother, John William of Fort Worth; and several nieces and nephews.
