Sterling died February 22, 2004 in Bossier City, Bossier Parish, LA.
He married Daliah Beck. Daliah was born October 27, 1927 in Vivian, Caddo Parrish, LA. Daliah was the daughter of Charles William Beck and Lorena Gilbert. Daliah died January 7;, 2010 in Bossier City, Bossier Parish, LA. OBIT: Daliah Beck MaGee was born October 24, 1927 in Vivian, LA to Charles William Beck and Lorena Gilbert Beck. She passed away Thursday, January 7, 2010 from a brief and courageous battle with cancer. Services will be Tuesday, January 12th at 11:30 a.m. at Rose-Neath's chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Jerry Dean pastor of The Pentecostal's of Bossier. Burial will be in Rose-Neath's Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, January 11th from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath's Funeral Home in Bossier City.
Mrs. Daliah MaGee was a long time resident of Bossier City, LA. Daliah was a member of Airline Baptist Church for many years. However, she most recently attended The Pentecostals of Bossier City, which she immensely enjoyed. For 22 years, Daliah was associated with the insurance industry. She served as President of the Insurance Women of Shreveport and The American Women's Business Association. Also, she served as Vice-President of the Bossier Parish Levee Board.
Daliah was preceded in death by her loving husband Sterling, her parents, 3 brothers, 3 sisters, and one grandson.
Survivors include sons, Mark MaGee and wife Vicki, Stacey MaGee and wife Christi; sister, Lawana Hartsfield; grandsons, Arien Gott and Sterling MaGee; granddaughters, Amy MaGee Holland, Brittney Gaudet, and Savannah MaGee; great-grandchildren, Morgan MaGee Holland, Dylan Gott, and Makezie Gaudet; many nieces and nephews.
Pall bearers will be Terry Beck, Gil Beck, Mike Beck, Sterling MaGee, Arien Gott, and Troy Montgomery.
Sterling Edward Magee and Daliah Beck had the following children:
