He married three times. It was said by one of Aaron's siblings that "Aaron was the first sibling born in our family to die. When he left us,our family's collective heart broke. Our family is extremely close and love each other very much. (Growing up poor in a big family with a really good Mama does that to you). Aaron wa an amazing man. He was handsome, funny and with a personality that filled a room. He could tell a story or joke that maybe wouldn't even be funny if someone else told it, but when Aaron told it and added in his personality, everyone would be in stitches. Aaron was certainly not perfect - I don't meant to make it sound that way, but to use he was great and he was ours and we love him and miss him daily".
