Donna died December 12, 2008 in Oakland. OBIT: Donna L. (Patty) Hultquist, 70, of Oakland died Friday, Dec. 12, 2008, at Oakland Heights Nursing Home in Oakland after a year-long battle with cancer.
Donna was born Nov. 26, 1938, in Peru to Elmer and Helen (Neil) Allgood. She graduated from Peru Prep High School.
On Sept. 12, 1959, Donna and John W. ?Bill? Hultquist were married in Auburn. She was employed as a custodian by the Oakland-Craig School for more than 25 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers and sisters-in-law, Albert and Barbara Allgood, Richard Allgood, Thomas Allgood, Emma Allgood; sister, Doris Wallace; and son-in-law, Tim Brewer.
Survivors include: her husband, Bill of Oakland; daughters, Patricia Borrell and husband, Jerry, Terrie Hultquist and friend, Marvin Tejral, all of Lincoln, and Tina Brewer of Seward; son, Steve Hultquist of Lincoln; stepson, Douglas Clough and wife, Lori, of Omaha; four grandchildren; two step grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother, Leonard Allgood of Papillion; sisters, Clara (Audley) Jackson of Rockport, Mo., and Ruth Earlywine of Omaha; sister-in-law, Joy Allgood of Peru; many nieces, nephews and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Oakland with the Rev. Mark Eldal officiating. Burial will be at a later date.
