He married twice. He married Elizabeth Jane Smith. He married Elizabeth Jane Smith July 7, 1852 in Copiah Co., MS. Elizabeth was born July 7, 1828 in Monticello, Lawrence Co., MS. Elizabeth was the daughter of William (Caption Billy) Smith and Delilah Kees. Elizabeth died 1885 in Lincoln Co, MS.

Willis Allgood and Elizabeth Jane Smith had the following children:

 1284 ii. Cynthia LaPearl Allgood was born May 23, 1855.

 1285 iii. John M Allgood was born in Lawrence Co., MS 1858. John died 1885 in Lincoln Co, MS.

 1286 iv. Mary Polly Allgood was born in Lawrence Co., MS 1860. Mary died 1869 in Lawrence Co., MS.

 1287 v. James Melton Allgood was born September 28, 1864.
