OBIT: Funeral services for Mary Maxine Norton Kimble, of Wesson, are 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 9, at Hillcrest Church of Christ, with burial in the church cemetery. Riverwood Family Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation is Friday from 5 until 8 p.m. at Riverwood. A special visitation time will be from 10:30 until 11 a.m. Saturday at the church.
Mrs. Kimble, 87, died April 6, 2011, at Silver Cross Nursing Home. She was born in Lincoln County on Nov. 10, 1923, to James Edwin and Eunice Belle Smith Norton.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of Hillcrest Church of Christ.
Preceding her in death were her parents; and her brother, Edwin Norton.
Survivors are her husband of 67 years, Ernest Ray Kimble; her sons, Ernest Randall Kimble and wife, Janet; her daughter, Judy Kimble Dickinson and husband, Billy; her brother, David Norton; her grandchildren, Christopher Dickinson, Gabriel Kimble, Mandy Middick and John Ashley Kimble; and her great-grandchildren, Kara and Kaelyn Maxine Middick, and Nate and Hannah Dickinson.,
She married Ernest Randall Kimble. Ernest was born March 8, 1920. Ernest was the son of William Wiley Kimble and Clara Ada Anding. Ernest died April 11, 2011. OBIT: Funeral services for Ernest Ray Kimble, of Wesson, were 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 13, at Hillcrest Church of Christ, with burial in the church cemetery. Riverwood Family Funeral Service was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Kimble, 91, died April 11, 2011, at Silver Cross Nursing Home. He was born in Copiah County on March 8, 1920, to William Wiley Kimble and Clara Anding Kimble.
He was a business owner. He was a member of Hillcrest Church of Christ and the Army having served in World War II.
Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Mary Maxine Kimble; six brothers, Troy, Harold, Brewer, J.W., Lamar and David; and four sisters, Carrie, Mary, Jewell and Eunice.
Survivors are his son, Ernest Randall Kimble and wife, Janet; his daughter Judy Kimble Dickinson and husband, Billy; his four grandchildren, Christopher Dickinson and wife, Tammy, Gabriel Kimble and wife, Samantha, Mandy Rae Middick and husband, Stephen, and John Ashley Kimble; his four great-grandchildren, Kara and Kaelyn Middick, and Nate and Hannah Dickinson. a
