He married Beulah Travis July 7, 1917. Beulah was born March 14, 1898 in MS. Beulah was the daughter of William James Travis and Ella B Wilson. Beulah died February 27, 1990 in Jackson, Hinds Co, MS. Beulah and Floyd were was buried in Heuck's Retreat Baptist Church Cemeteru, Lincoln Co., MS.

Floyd P. Smith and Beulah Travis had the following children:

 24917 i. Denon¹¹ Smith (living).

 24918 ii. Joyce Yvonne Smith was born January 25, 1920.

 24919 iii. Willie Earl Smith was born August 11, 1923.

 24920 iv. Smyle Lloyd Smith was born June 27, 1926.

 24921 v. Roy Gene Smith was born November 16, 1931. Roy died May 29, 1992. He married Joel Munson.

 24922 vi. Voy James Smith was born November 16, 1931. Voy died July 13, 1997 in Ponchatoula, Tangipahoa Parish, LA.
