12123. Norman L.¹⁰ Smith (Isom Oakley Washington⁹, Wyatt⁸, Emily⁷ Allgood, Wyatt⁶, William (Pikey) Henry⁵, William John⁴, Edward³, William², Edward¹ Algood) was born in MS December 2, 1913. Norman died July 19, 2007 in Brookhaven, Lincoln Co., MS. OBIT: Services for Norman L. Smith, of Bogue Chitto, are 2 p.m. Monday, July 23, at Harrigill Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Mt. Olive Church of Christ Cemetery.

Visitation is Sunday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Smith, 93, died July 19, 2007, at Countrybrook Living Center of natural causes. He was born on Dec. 2, 1913, to Oakley Smith and Maggie Watson. He was a retired welding supervisor with Jacobsen Lawnmower Plant. He was a member of Mt. Olive Church of Christ. Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Dortha B. Smith; six brothers; and one sister. Survivors are his son, Robert L. "Bobbie" Smith, of Oklahoma; three grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

He married Dortha Brazeal. Dortha was born October 30, 1923. Dortha was the daughter of L. D. Brazeal and Florence Netherland. Dortha died February 15, 2000 in Brookhaven, Lincoln Co., MS.

Norman L. Smith and Dortha Brazeal had the following child:
