Joanne died February 23, 2009 in Shawnee, Pottawatomie Co., OK. OBIT: Joann Laverne Williams, 65, went to be with our Father Monday Feb. 23, 2009. She was married on Feb. 7, 1961 to Jimmy M. Williams, Sr. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church for 30 plus years. She was the loving mother of four children. She is preceded in death by her father and mother, Alfred and Juanita Allgood; her brother, Jerry M. Allgood; her husband of nearly 27 years, Jimmy M. Williams, Sr.; and one brother-in-law, Johnny Lee Williams of McLoud. She is survived by three sons, Jimmy M. Williams, Jr. of the home, John A. Rohr of the home, and Jerry W. Williams and wife of McLoud; one daughter and son-in-law, Judy and David Fullbright of the home; seven grandchildren; and one sister and brother-in-law, Wanda and Danny Burden and their children of Mangum, Okla.; and numerous nieces and nephews and lots of friends. Her memorial service will be 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 27, 2009 at Liberty Baptist Church in Shawnee with the Rev. Bill Matthews and Phil Thompson officiating. Services are under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home.
She married Jimmy M. Williams February 7, 1961. Jimmy was born November 4, 1939. Jimmy died November 1986 in Shawnee, Pottawatomie Co., OK.
Joanne Laverne Allgood and Jimmy M. Williams had the following children:
