Effie died January 25, 2012. OBIT: Effie Lee Reynolds Fierce, 89, passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2012. She was born February 17, 1922 in Yadkin County to the late Miles Wilson and Percie Rutledge Reynolds. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Fierce; two brothers James Reynolds and Marshall Reynolds and one sister Sarah Trivette. Surviving are her children, Catherine Bills and Barbara Robertson; ten grandchildren; five great grandchildren; sister, Adelene (Junior) Daye; brother, Hubert Reynolds; three special nieces. Her graveside service was held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 26, 2012 at Yadkin Memorials Gardens by Rev. Grady Trivette. The family received friends from 12:30 to 1:30 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville, prior to the service on Thursday.

She married Leo Ollie Fierce. Leo was born August 16, 1912 in Pendleton Co., KY. Leo was the son of Luman Alonzo Fierce and Nellile (___). Leo died Apil t 1986 in New Salisbury, Harrison Co., IN.
