He married Maggie F. Bethel March 19, 1891. Maggie was born 1876 in Pendleton Co., KY. Maggie was the daughter of Joshua Fletcher Bethel and Amy Johnson. Maggie died April 23, 1934 in Henderson Co., KY.

Robert Allgood and Maggie F. Bethel had the following children:

 2483 i. Ellis⁹ Allgood was born September 9, 1892.

 2484 ii. Della Allgood was born March 15, 1895.

 2485 iii. Ethel Allgood was born October 11, 1897.

 2486 iv. Bethel Allgood was born Janaury 23, 1901.

 2487 v. Ora Allgood was born August 5, 1905.

 2488 vi. Robbie Allgood was born in Henderson Co., KY September 12, 1906. Robbie died November 2, 1951 in Henderson Co., KY.

 2489 vii. Ruby Allgood was born December 2,1908.
