OBIT: Mr. Milton Leon Moss, Sr., age 82, of Douglasville, GA passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2011. He was born October 1, 1928 in Douglasville, GA son of the late Charlie and Nellie Gilmer Moss. He was also preceded in death by his wife Mae Moss, sons, Larry Dean Moss and Harry Louis Moss. Mr. Moss was a former Stationary Engineer with Atlanta Laundry. He coached Little League Baseball and Basketball in Douglas County for 15 years. Mr. Moss was an avid gardener and fisherman. He was Baptist by faith.
He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and Pat Bingham; son and daughter-in-law, Leon and Teresa Moss, Jr.; daughter-in-law, Terri Moss; sisters, Vertie Gray and Tootsie Devore; 6 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, April 23, 2011 from noon to 2 PM. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM in the Rosehaven Chapel with Rev. Virgil Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
