She married Alxander Harper Ray. Alxander was born November 19,1880. Alxander was the son of Sils Felix Ray and Martha Sorrells. Alxander died August 5,1969.

Essie Allgood and Alxander Harper Ray had the following children:

 9960 ii. Lottis Ruth Ray was born September 18,1908. Lottis died January 13, 1935. She married (____) Loyd.

 9961 iii. Mattie Belle Ray was born January 1, 1913.

 9962 iv. Willie Hyder Ray was born Sepember 26,1916.

 9963 v. Thomas Hulon Ray was born in Monroe, Walton Co., GA December 3,1923. Thomas died June 21,1996 in Dekalb Co., GA.
