Una died January 31, 2006 in Henderson, Vance Co., NC. OBIT: Marie Ayscue Perdue, 84, of 245 Southern Ave., died Tuesday, January 31, 2006. Mrs. Perdue was a retired bookkeeper at Rose Gin and Supply Co. She was a member of Liberty Christian Church and the Bertha Mitchell Sunday School Class. She was a former church financial secretary and former deaconess. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Liberty Christian Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Surviving are her husband, John Young Perdue; three daughters, Patricia P. Ayscue, Nancy E. Perdue and Joyce P. Moor; and two sons, Johnnie F. Perdue and Curtis Y. Perdue. The family will be at the home.
She married John Young Perdue March 21, 1942 in Franklin Co., NC. John was born March 19, 1921 in Franklin Co., NC. John died September 13, 2008 in Vance Co., NC.
