Emma died February 7, 2013 in Henderson, Vance Co., NC. OBIT: Brame Ruth Eaves Brame, 81, of 804 Eastside Drive, Henderson, NC died Thursday, February 7, 2013 at Maria Parham Medical Center. Born in Franklin County, she was the daughter of the late Robert Edgar Eaves, Sr. and Mary Ayscue Eaves. Mrs. Brame retired as Office Manager after thirty years with Long Pump and Tank Company. After retirement, she was employed at Standard Motor Parts and H & R Block. She was a member of City Road United Methodist Church and the Parker-Peace Sunday School Class. A memorial service will be held Sunday, February 10, 2013 at 2:00 p.m, at City Road United Methodist Church, conducted by the Rev. Heather Harding. Surviving are her husband of sixty-two years Melvin Willis Brame; two daughters, Barbara B. Riley and Deborah A. Brame, both of Henderson; two brothers, Thomas Shelton Eaves of Exetor, New Hampshire and Theodore Eaves of Henderson; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Ralph Thomas Brame; four sisters, Bernice E. Smithwick, Elizabeth E. Kittrell, Agnes E. Finch, and Orabelle E. Currin; and four brothers, Ralph M. Eaves, Bryant G. Eaves, Joe Ben Eaves, and Robert E. Ed Eaves, Jr. The family will receive friends at the home, 804 Eastside Drive, Henderson.

She married Melvin Willis Brame. Melvin was born January 29, 1928 in Vance Co., NC. Melvin was the son of Edwin Clarence Brame and Ferrell Lee Wilson. Melvin died July 10, 2014 in Henderson, Vance Co., NC.

Emma Ruth Eaves and Melvin Willis Brame had the following children:
