Elmora died January 1, 2009 in Portsmouth, Portsmouth Co., VA. OBIT: Elnora Fay Wilkinson, 73, went home to be with the Lord January 1, 2009, after a short illness. She was born in Oxford, North Carolina. A life long Portsmouth, VA resident, Fay graduated from Churchland High School in 1954. She was employed for many years and retired from Virginia Chemicals. She was predeceased by her infant daughter, Brenda Fay Harris and her parents Agrippa H. and Sallie M. Medlin. She leaves behind to cherish her memory a loving husband of 49 years, Leonard L. Wilkinson, Sr.; one son, Leonard L. Wilkinson, Jr. and his wife, Linda, Linda's daughter, Jennifer Leffler; and one grandson, Michael L. Wilkinson. She is survived by sisters, Ruth Harris and Nora Mae Baker of Portsmouth, VA and Louise Wright of Chesapeake, VA; and a host of nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. Fay was a member of Jackson Memorial Baptist Church in Chesapeake, VA and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, she relished time spent with her four year old grandson. She will be missed yet forever in our hearts. A funeral service will be conducted by Rev. Paul W. Parker and Rev. She married twice. She married James Monroe Harris JR 1953 in Pasquotank Co., NC. She married Leonard Lee Wilkinson June 26,1959 in Portsmouth, Portsmouth Co., VA. Leonard was born 1934. Leonard is the son of Leonard Carey Wilkinson and Grace L. Bryant.
