39038 v. Joseph Paulette (Paul) Callahan was born October 9,1942. Joseph died June 19, 2015 in Lynchburg, Lyynchburg Co., VA. OBIT: Joseph Paulette “Paul” Callahan, Sr., 72, of Lynchburg, passed away on Friday, June 19, 2015, at Virginia Baptist Hospital. He was the loving husband of Edith Harris Callahan.
Paul was born on October 9, 1942, to Edith Ramey Callahan and the late Joseph Aaron Callahan. He worked as a heavy equipment operator at Bryant Electric Company up until his retirement, and was a devoted member of Forest Road United Methodist Church.
In addition to his father, Paul was preceded in death by his step-son, Joseph Paulette Callahan, Jr.
Left behind to cherish Paul’s memory are his wife and mother, three step-daughters, Joan Burnham and Patsy Dalton of Lynchburg, and Lydia Shearin of Chase City; ten step-grandchildren; his step-daughter-in-law Pauline Callahan of Chase City; three sisters, Linda Ramey and her husband, Kenneth of Chase City, Phyllis Jennings of Chase City, and Billie Jo Connor and her husband, Donnie of Warrenton, N.C.; one brother, Kenneth Callahan and his wife, Mattie of Kenbridge; and numerous step-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
