He married twice. He married Janeta Irene Mullen in Glen Rose, TX. Janeta was born July 20, 1924 in Nemo, Somervell Co., TX. Janeta was the daughter of Omer Mujllen and Vina MaeHazzie Roberts. Janeta died September 19, 2014 in Whitney, Hill Co., TX. OBIT: Graveside service for Janeta Irene York, 90, of Blum will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, September 23, 2014 in the Rosehill Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 12-1:30 P.M., Tuesday, at the funeral home, prior to the service.
Janeta Irene York passed away Friday, September 19, 2014 in Whitney. She was born July 20, 1924 in Nemo to Omer and Vina Roberts Mullen. She married Curtis E. York in Glen Rose and he preceded her in death on April 3, 1966.
Mrs. York worked in construction before retirement. She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her sons, Curtis W. York and wife Joyce and Donald E. York and wife Margaret; seven grand children; numerous great grand children; and several other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, brother, Elwin Mullen and sister, Lede Maude Harkins.
He married Dorothy Christine Sparks.
Curtis Eugene York and Janeta Irene Mullen had the following children:
