He married Sarah M. Allgood February 14, 1886 in Mahaska Co., IA. Sarah was born February 1868 in Mahaska Co., IA. Sarah was the daughter of Samuel Allgood JR and Delilah Blacketter. Sarah died October 5, 1925 in Madison Co., IL.
