He married twice. He married Ethel Josephine Johnson July 4,1956 in VA. Ethel was born June 5, 1934.

38999 iii. Donald (Donnie) Welsy Allgood was born in Mecklenberg Co., VA May 28,1957. Donald died January 25, 2017 in Atlanta, Fulton Co., GA. OBIT: Mr. Donald Wesley 'Donnie' Allgood, age 59 of Conyers, died Wednesday, January 25, 2017. He was preceded in death by his father, John Wesley Allgood and step-father, James Proudfit. He is survived by his mother, Ethel Proudfit; brothers and sisters, Larry and Eva Proudfit, John Allgood, Darryl Allgood, Belinda and Frank Krech, Nancy Proudfit. Nieces and nephews, Haley Allgood, Timothy and Brittany Allgood: Christy and Michael Little, Elizabeth Allgood, Matthew Allgood, Frank and Sarah Krech, Jr., James Krech, Chris and Ann Proudfit, Emily and Bryan Main. Donnie was a member of Belmont Baptist Church. He enjoyed working in the food bank at Belmont Baptist and delivering food to the community. He also enjoyed talking on his CB radio and was an avid Atlanta Falcons fan. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, January 29, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. at Belmont Baptist Church with Rev. Nolan Jackson, Sr. officiating. The body will lie in state from 1:30 until 2:30 p.m. at the church. Interment will follow at Green Meadow Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends Saturday, January 28, 2017 from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
