He married Jeanne C. Claypool July 2,1961 in Covington Miami Co. OH. Jeanne was born January 16, 1923 in Kittanning, Armstrong Co., PA. Jeanne was the daughter of Leonard James Claypool and Alberta E Wyant. Jeanne died February 8, 2010 in Dayton, Montgomery Co., OH.

Woodrow Rowland and Jeanne C. Claypool had the following children:
