He married Alpha Smith. Alpha was born July 24, 1893. Alpha was the daughter of John Everett Smith and Adeline Womack. Alpha died January 22, 1981 in Brookhaven, Lincoln Co., MS.

Albert Carpenter and Alpha Smith had the following child:
