He married Estella (Stella) Penrod December 29, 1923. Estella was born July 8, 1896 in Parker Co., TX. Estella was the daughter of William Samel Penrod and Lenora Boud Carpenter. Estella died August 15, 1995 in Mangum, Greer Co., OK.
